How to Perform a System Restore

Microsoft Windows provides a great tool called System Restore.  This example in Windows XP shows you how to restore your system to an earlier state.  This is needed anytime there may be an issue with your computer where you either can't fix the problem, or you can't pinpoint where the error is coming from.  System Restore allows you to restore your computer to a time where you are certain that your computer was working fine.
